Sisal production

From plantations in East Africa you get the finest quality of sisal fibers.Long and uniform fibers are the best basis for a good quality yarn and carpet. 
From the agave plant the leaves are harvested and the fibers are secluded from the leaves in a machine where they are being smashed. After havesting the fibers are dried in the sunshine, sorted in different lenghts and quality, packed in bales and shiped to Europe.

In Europe the fibers and dyed, spun into yarn and woven into carpets.
